It is a space we have all enjoyed, being immersed within the glitter menagerie through the years. We reminisce on the sartorial impact of the eclectic and raucous Seventies known for glamor in sequins and lush colors, a sense of fluidity beguiling the masses into a trance of fluctuating beauty, to the spacey, futuristic aesthetics of the Sixties, avant-garde and alluring in its own alien opalescence. Both eras were one of instability, seeping into present times reminding us that what lies beneath the shimmer is always convoluted, possessing both qualities of light and dark, mesmerizing in its contradictions.
